Bacon or Being?

A friend sent me this photo today. There is no way that anyone I know would say this little sweet being should be killed for the "pleasure" of eating bacon or sausage. I still haven't gotten my hands on Melanie Joy's book: Why Do We Love Dogs, Eat Pigs and Wear Cows? but the trailer for it (yes, books have trailers now!) is fabulous.
